The police tried to explain to the protestors they were violating the rule that no more than 25 people could gather during the lockdown and asked them to disperse. Despite requesting Nepal Police again and again with all the politeness just for the next 30mins of allowance the action they repelled was extremely brutal. What started as a peaceful-chanting of demands ended in chaos after Nepal Police charged the protesters with water cannons & batons. A total of 9 arrests & physical harassment dispersed the gathering.
