Forrest alexander Gump is a character of the movie “Forrest Gump” which is played by Tom Hanks. This movie is based on the 20th century. Tom hanks portrayed this character very well. Forrest Gump as a character has a lower IQ then any normal person still his aura is very positive. Gump leads a truly charmed life, with a ringside seat for many of the most memorable events of the 20th century Entirely without trying, Forrest teaches Elvis Presley to dance, becomes a football star, meets John F. Kennedy, serves with honor in Vietnam, meets Lyndon Johnson, speaks at an anti-war rally at the Washington Monument, hangs out with the Hippies, defeats the Chinese national team in table tennis, meets Richard Nixon, discovers the break-in at the Watergate, opens a profitable shrimping business, becomes an original investor in Apple Computers, and decides to run back and forth across the country for several years. Forrest Gump has a simple-minded man with compassion in what he does. He is so focused in what he does. He never discriminated against people with color. He always protects those who are close to him. He attracts people around him by his actions. He has won Medal of Honor by risking his life in war to protect his team in war. Forrest Gump never forgets a girl whom he loved when he was a child which shows a charming persona of a person. He protects her from any problems without caring about himself time again even when she doesn’t want it. Many people said him stupid then also he doesn’t take words in his heart. He always said, “stupid is as stupid does”.
By the analysis of Forrest Gump’s personality, we can determine he has honest compassionate and loving character. These traits can greatly influence his behavior, life choices and decisions. Gump was able to live a fulfilling life despite the several challenges and obstacles that befell him throughout his life.
